    My Many Tragic Deaths

My rant for the day shall be about Super Smash Brothers   I have found this game to be very helpful with surviving senior year.  Plus I can vent a lot of my anger that comes from Orchestra (it is evil and I shall explain later).  But there is one problem.  Now, this game is great to play with a bunch of friends.  It is oddly entertaining.  But when you are an only child and home alone, you will feel as though you have no life. Although maybe I just go about it . . . the wrong way.

Link.  My favorite character.  I put him in his pink outfit ensemble and give him a star wand.  Kelsy and I both agree that he looks quite sexy in his pink tights!   . . . But alas, I can not say the same for Ganadorf.  I dress him in pink (purplish really), give him his star wand.  And he looks *ahem* gay (no, this word no longer means happy).

However, my weapon of choice is usually the hammer.  It is especially awesome on Supper Sudden Death mode. . .  That is, until the hammer flies off and you are stuck waving around the stick, flailing around the arena like a madman.  And this does no damage whatsover!

Recently, I have been trying to figure out Final Fantasy.  The one for the GameCube in particular (I believe it is called Crystal Cronicals).  And I fail miserably.

I also bought Final Fantasy X-2 over the weeked.  I have no idea what I was doing.  I just button bashed aimlessly for a half an hour or so and then died a tragic death.  Well, at least it was a happy death.  All of them died...dancing...to no particular music whatsoever.  It had no obvious effect on my enemies either.  I was very confused.

    Daydreams (Pt 1 . . . Maybe)

There is hardly anything interesting that happened since school started. Sorry, but its true. But I do have a few random things to rant about for once.

This incident happened in my English class. First our teacher had us "free-write" about our most recent daydream. But then she divided us into groups and asked us to share what we wrote. I may be socially awkward but I have a beyond wild imagination. And that particular day I had wrote about something that happened to me in real life that I still ponder to this very day. . .

You see, once I accidently got drunk off of spiked fruit punch (I wasn't told it was spiked until it was too late.) This was when I was around 13 and at a party my grandparents dragged me to because they were the only ones who could pick me up from a half day at school. Long story short, I got drunk when I was 13 at a retirement home.

I can't remember everything that occurred while i was . . . intoxicated. So, one of the things I daydreamed about was how *ahem* "tipsy* I was that particular day. I am pretty weird most of the time but I can't imagine how terrifying I would be under the influence of alcohol. Those poor senior citizens.

Well, I am just glad I didn't share my more common daydreams, when my mind REALLY tends to wander. When I jump off into the deep corners of my brain, I come up with insane things. Perhaps I shall share those sometime.

Hypotesive Overlord of the Nerf Gun

I loathe going back to school.  It means I can't sleep in anymore. (I am so cranky and violent in the morning, or so everyone tells me)  Well, if you hang a doughnut in my face there is a slight chance I might get up.

My poor mother has to suffer the most.  A week before school starts up, she tries to wake me up early to get used to the whole school schedule again.  But it is her own loss....

I swear, I have saved up and invested my money in a Nerf gun.  I keep it in my loft bed to ward off any annoying family members in the morning.  And it has served me well.

Summer Reading is Like Going Hell in an Handbasket

Unfortunately, I won't be on for a week or so.  There is still summer reading.  Consider me dead for the time being.

Normally, at times like this, I have to go to work with my mom (she doesn't like me home alone much).  And when I do homework, she tries to find a quiet place for me to study . . .

Keep in mind that she works for the Division of Developmental Disabilities.  Therefore, the place she has me study is none other than the room where her close friend works . . . the one who teaches cpr, lifting, first aid, ect.

And what does this woman use to teach?  GIGANTIC DUMMIES & MANIQINS!  This woman as an almost disdurbing collection of um...friends.  I wonder if she talks to them...

So, here I am trying to study in a cramped room with fake human bodies EVERWHERE (that are taller than me)...and they are all staring at me with their rubber eye balls!

It doesn't help that the summer English class that I am taking has a lot of disturbing stories.  There is one where this girl's father dies.  Not wanting to let go, she keeps his rotting body in the closet.  Later, when her husband says he is going away for a few days, she kills him with rat poison and leaves the decomposing body in her bed until the day she dies!

And yes, I am reading this dysfunctional story while sitting in a dysfunctional room with mangled rubber limbs and decapitated rubber heads.

(I also had to read Fall of the House of Usher while I was trapped in there.  It was disturbing enough).

    Adventures in Voice Acting

    FREEDOM!
I no longer have to wake myself up every hour to check for the e-mail notification for the anime voice acting workshop.  Yup.  It came out today.  AND I GOT IN.  So, on August 22 I get to go the the Bang Zoom Studio in California.  (Crispin Freeman may even be there...'cause he has been an instructor at previous workshops.  So yeah, just to give you an idea of how huge this is for me)

Ashley, Kelsy, and I are going to celebrate once they get back from Chicago on Friday.  I am just so thrilled I can't contain myself.  Yup, that is pretty much all that has happened today.  Finally, I can have some qualitiy time to myself . . .doing nothing but sleeping.
    EPIC HAPPINESS!

<BTW, this picture pretty much represents me trying for weeks to get in the class.  I checked virtually every hour of the day and when it finally arrived, my parents were still at work.  So, it is evident that I have been spazing out for some time now (probably due to lack of sleep) Charming isn't it?
